Job Description

Are you someone with a unique blend of technical know-how, software testing, and debugging skills? Bevy Commerce is on the hunt for a talented Quality Assurance Developer who will be responsible for ensuring our app and website solutions meet the highest standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write Manual Test cases and scenarios to ensure the features fulfill the functional requirements.
  • Design and run Automated Test scripts to validate different app functionalities.
  • Debug software, provide timely feedback, and collaborate with developers to resolve encountered issues.
  • Create and maintain test metrics to assess the quality of software.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure product scalability before release.
  • Prepare written documentation of the issues, log the resolution state of bugs, their severity, and steps to reproduce.
  • Identify, report, and track defects, providing detailed information for efficient issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product managers to maintain design consistency and content accuracy.
  • Keep up to date on industry best practices and emerging software testing trends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Excellent understanding of software testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficient with writing automated test cases using automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Katalon Studio, etc.
  • Must be able to write and implement comprehensive test cases.
  • Must be able to meticulously review design mocks and content implementations to identify even the smallest discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to notice and document inconsistencies in visual design, content layout, typography, and user interface elements.
  • Experience with software performance and load testing.
  • Great attention to detail for identifying overall good and bad user experiences.
  • Experience spotting bugs and client issues using browser-specific development tools such as Chrome DevTools.
  • Knowledge of web-based applications and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Highly organized and analytical with a knack for debugging and problem-solving.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working during EST and CST office hours to coordinate with clients.
  • Strong command over the English language is a MUST.
