Job Description

Bevy Commerce is looking for a Full-Stack Developer like you to help us build innovative applications in the eCommerce space. As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing both front-end and back-end portions of our applications by combining the art of design with programming and integrating them with the server side.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design and wireframes into high-functioning codes.
• Take an active role on both the client and server sides and define how the application looks and works.
• Build integrations with different services and identify opportunities for increasing system and architecture robustness.
• Build front-end libraries and reusable components that can be used in the future.
• Ensure the technical usability of our UI/UX design.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies to optimize our applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with the MERN stack is a must.
• Must have 1-2+ years of professional-level experience in NodeJS and React.
• Proficient in working with APIs and creating them from scratch.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL and web markups, such as HTML5 and CSS3.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Shopify is a plus
